NAF carries out airstrikes on suspected terrorist hideouts in Zamfara

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reportedly carried out overnight airstrikes on suspected terrorists’ positions in Bagega Forest, Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

According to a report by Daily Post⁠, the operation targeted multiple locations in the forest following reports of a large convoy of armed terrorists operating in the area.

Local sources said the strikes were conducted after intelligence indicated the presence and movement of suspected terrorists within the forest.

The operation forms part of ongoing military efforts to disrupt terrorist and bandit activities in Zamfara and other parts of north-western Nigeria.
