Nigerians in UK leader confirms Poco Lee’s court date over assault allegation

Popular Nigerian dancer, Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, is expected to appear before the Snaresbrook Crown Court in London on September 15 over an alleged assault offence, according to Benjamin Kuti, popularly known as the Oluomo of Derby and founder of the community of Nigerians in the United Kingdom.

Kuti confirmed that Poco Lee is currently being held on remand in a UK prison, with his next court date expected to be a plea hearing. He added that he would personally attend the proceedings to support the entertainer, urging Nigerians to allow the legal process to run its course, according to a report by Punch.
