No US naturalisation record found for Ilhan Omar’s father — Report

Fresh questions have emerged about US Representative Ilhan Omar’s citizenship following claims that immigration authorities have no naturalisation records for her late father, Nur Omar Mohamed.

According to PJ Media, former congressional candidate AJ Kern and conservative activist Chaya Raichik claimed to have obtained letters from the Department of Homeland Security and US Citizenship and Immigration Services indicating no records of Mohamed’s naturalisation.

However, immigration authorities have not publicly confirmed the claims.

Omar previously stated that she obtained American citizenship through her father while she was still a minor.

The report also alleges that federal investigators are examining whether Omar’s birth records were altered to establish eligibility for citizenship through her father.

The allegations have resurfaced amid an ongoing federal investigation into the Minnesota Democrat’s immigration history.

Federal agents recently searched Omar’s Washington residence, seizing documents and electronic devices.

Omar has denied wrongdoing and accused President Donald Trump’s administration of politically motivated intimidation.

The allegations remain unproven, and the reported absence of records does not establish that Omar or her father lacked American citizenship.

Note: The claim about missing naturalisation records comes from activists citing purported government correspondence, not a publicly confirmed finding by USCIS.
