Olajengbesi demands N10bn from Senator Fadahunsi over cult defamation claims
Accord Party House of Representatives candidate Pelumi Olajengbesi has demanded N10 billion in damages from Senator Francis Fadahunsi over alleged defamatory statements linking him to cult groups, according to Sahara Reporters.
Olajengbesi’s lawyers, Law Corridor, gave Fadahunsi 24 hours to retract claims made during television interviews in July and August, alleging he sponsored Eiye and Aye cult members. The lawyers denied the allegations, calling them false and damaging to Olajengbesi’s reputation. They demanded a public apology and retraction, warning that failure to comply would trigger legal proceedings without further notice.
