OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney gets six years for stabbing death of Nigerian-American boyfriend Christian Obumseli
A Miami OnlyFans model will spend approximately 18 to 20 months behind bars after accepting a plea deal Monday in the 2022 stabbing death of her Nigerian-American boyfriend.
Courtney Clenney, 30, pleaded guilty to manslaughter — down from a second-degree murder charge that carried up to 30 years in prison — in the death of 27-year-old Christian Obumseli, according to NBC Miami. She was sentenced to six years with credit for time served since her 2022 arrest, plus five years of probation and mandatory mental health treatment.
Obumseli was stabbed in the chest during a domestic dispute at their One Paraiso luxury apartment in Miami’s Edgewater neighbourhood on April 3, 2022. Prosecutors described the relationship as marked by a pattern of escalating violence by Clenney toward Obumseli.
Speaking in court, Obumseli’s mother said: “Nothing can describe what it feels like for a mother to stand at the grave of her child.” Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said the plea was reached with the full approval of Christian’s family, who finally heard Clenney “accepting full responsibility for his death.”
