Oshiomhole: Atiku wed Jennifer from Southeast, dumped her after election loss

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has claimed that African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar married Jennifer Douglas from the Southeast and later divorced her after losing a presidential election, Daily Post reports.

The Edo North lawmaker made the claim on Monday at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally in Calabar, Cross River State.

Oshiomhole alleged that Atiku promised Southeasterners that Jennifer would become First Lady if he won, and set up a foundation for her. He claimed Atiku divorced her and took her to court after he lost.

He said the remarks were a reply to Atiku’s attacks on President Bola Tinubu.

“Because he likes abusing our president, so we must reply,” Oshiomhole said.

The former Edo State governor added that APC supporters must be willing to name opposition figures who disrespect their leader.

At the same rally, Oshiomhole also claimed that Atiku lives in Dubai and only returns to Nigeria during elections.
