Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly rejected an approach from Portuguese super agent Jorge Mendes, insisting that he is happy at Galatasaray. According to BSN Sports, Turkish journalist Ali Naci Küçük revealed the development during an appearance on 343 Digital.

Küçük disclosed that Mendes’ chief adviser, Umberto Saldavor, travelled to Istanbul three weeks ago to meet the Nigerian forward and discuss a potential representation deal. “During the offer, he used the phrase ‘Barcelona, Real Madrid, whichever you want, I can take you there. “Osimhen rejected this offer: ‘I only work with my lawyer, I’m happy at Galatasaray.'”

Mendes previously represented Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and is regarded as one of football’s most influential agents. Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently in July 2025 for €75 million after an impressive loan spell at the Turkish club.

The 27-year-old has reportedly turned down several lucrative offers from European clubs and Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal, including bids estimated at €120 million to €130 million. His reported response to Mendes reinforces his commitment to Galatasaray, where he continues to attract attention for his performances.
