Osun 2026: APC senator orders supporters to “kill” Accord members
A viral video has sparked outrage after Senator Francis Fadahunsi, an APC chieftain, told supporters in Ilesa to “kill” Accord Party members ahead of Saturday’s Osun governorship election. Speaking in Yoruba, Fadahunsi urged followers to hunt down Accord members, drawing cheers from the crowd, Peoples Gazette reports.
Governor Ademola Adeleke’s campaign spokesperson, Pelumi Olajengbesi, condemned the remarks as undemocratic and inciting, demanding the Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, intervene immediately to protect lives and ensure a peaceful poll.
Police spokesperson DSP Abiodun Zechariah had not responded to requests for comment as of press time.
