Real Madrid contract talks with Vinicius Jr stall as Arsenal match wage demands

According to TEAMtalk, Real Madrid have failed to reach an agreement with Vinicius Junior over a new contract after fresh talks ended without a breakthrough on Wednesday.

Arsenal remain firmly in contention, having reportedly matched the Brazilian’s wage expectations while also presenting an attractive sporting project. Despite the deadlock, Vinicius is still said to prefer staying at the Santiago Bernabéu if improved terms on salary, image rights and bonuses can be agreed.

Arsenal are monitoring developments closely, believing they have positioned themselves strongly should negotiations between the player and the Spanish giants ultimately collapse.
