Real reason I left City Boy Movement — Ex-Oyo coordinator
Ahmed Ajibola, former Oyo State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, has resigned from the pro-Tinubu group citing concerns over the direction of its state structure and differences with leadership — firmly denying social media reports that he was removed or made derogatory comments about President Bola Tinubu.
“My decision is based not on bitterness, but on principle,” Ajibola said in an Instagram statement, describing reports of his dismissal as “false, malicious, and misleading.”
The Punch reports that the activist, who declined two new appointments offered by both state and national leadership before resigning, stressed that his exit was not a withdrawal of support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
