Roy Keane has backed Jude Bellingham to become one of football’s greatest players after his outstanding performance in England’s 7-0 demolition of Croatia, according to GOAL. The Real Madrid midfielder scored once and provided three assists as Thomas Tuchel’s side produced a dominant display in Rijeka.

Keane praised Bellingham’s quality in possession but was particularly impressed by his work without the ball, saying his attitude and energy raise the standards of those around him. “Bellingham can go on to become one of the greatest players of all time,” Keane said. The 23-year-old now has 14 goals and 13 assists in 59 England appearances.
