Ruben Amorim demands more from AC Milan despite 4-0 victory over RB Salzburg
AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim insisted his side have played better this season despite securing a comfortable 4-0 away victory against RB Salzburg in the UEFA Europa League, as reported by Football Italia.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia following Thursday night’s match in Austria, the Portuguese manager emphasized that despite the flattering scoreline, room for improvement remains. Amorim noted that while the Rossoneri were clinical in front of goal, the host side still created key chances to threaten Milan.
The fixture was highlighted by 19-year-old Alphadjo Cisse, who became the youngest Italian to score a hat-trick in a major European competition before substitute Goncalo Ramos added a fourth.
Despite Cisse’s historic display, Amorim maintained that the young forward and teammate Francesco Camarda—who he noted needs to develop his “explosiveness and pace”—still have work ahead to maximize their potential.
