Savannah Guthrie appeals for help 9 months after mother vanished
NBC “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie has renewed her appeal for public help in finding her mother, Nancy Guthrie, nine months after she was allegedly kidnapped from her Arizona home, The Washington Times reports.
Guthrie shared the message on social media on Sunday, alongside an old drawing by her daughter saying she needed her mommy.
She said her family was struggling to move on and pleaded for anyone with information to come forward.
“We need someone to help us, tell us what you know,” she said.
Guthrie added that a reward for finding her 84-year-old mother is still available.
Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on February 1 after she failed to join a virtual church service at a friend’s house.
Home surveillance footage showed a masked suspect tampering with her doorbell camera on the night she was allegedly forced from her Tucson home.
Ransom notes from unidentified abductors have since demanded seven-figure cryptocurrency payments in exchange for information on her whereabouts.
