Scottie Scheffler has officially overtaken Tiger Woods as the PGA Tour’s all-time career earnings leader after winning the Tour Championship to capture his second FedEx Cup, according to reporting by Front Office Sports.
The 30-year-old World No. 1 mounted a final-round comeback at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, shooting a 16-under tournament total to claim the $10 million winner’s purse. Entering the weekend just $608,505 behind Woods, the victory pushed Scheffler’s career PGA Tour prize earnings to $130,390,661. Scheffler finished three strokes ahead of Viktor Hovland to seal his third victory of the year.
