Seven Arsenal players miss training ahead of Coventry Premier League opener
According to Football London, Arsenal had seven players missing from their final training session before Friday’s Premier League opener against Coventry City. Bruno Guimaraes is the biggest concern after reportedly suffering a knock during last weekend’s Community Shield victory over Manchester City.
Piero Hincapie, Reiss Nelson, Fabio Vieira, Illan Meslier, Tommy Setford and Gabriel Jesus were also absent from the training images, although their absence does not necessarily confirm they missed the session. Meanwhile, William Saliba and Jurrien Timber remain sidelined with injuries. Mikel Arteta has confirmed Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka are available for the opening fixture.
