Sunday Igboho launches Ogun chapter of ‘Iru Ekun’ security network

Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has inaugurated the Ogun State chapter of the Iru Ekun Security Network, a community-based initiative aimed at supporting efforts to tackle insecurity across the South-West.

According to Vanguard, the inauguration attracted hundreds of supporters and volunteers dressed in matching black outfits and caps.

Igboho urged members to maintain discipline and avoid abusing the authority attached to their training and identification cards.

He said the Federal Government would determine the agency responsible for training members, while the Ogun State Governor’s Office would decide their deployment areas.

He also disclosed that members could receive monthly allowances.
