Terrorists to Zamfara community: You have just seven days to raise N50m, 50 cows, 50 sheep or face attack

Terrorists operating in Zamfara State have reportedly given residents of a community in Talata Mafara Local Government Area seven days to raise ₦50 million, 50 cattle and 50 sheep or face another attack.

According to SaharaReporters, the terrorists stormed an open market and issued the ultimatum amid repeated attacks and livestock rustling. Residents said the group had previously killed 22 farmers in a July attack.

They appealed to the state government and security agencies to intervene before the deadline expires, while police had yet to comment.
