Thomas Tuchel leaves out Cole Palmer and Phil Foden in latest England squad
England head coach Thomas Tuchel has omitted Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer and Manchester City playmaker Phil Foden from his latest Three Lions squad, according to a report by Daily Express.
The upcoming Nations League fixtures will see England host Croatia on November 12 at Wembley Stadium before traveling to face Spain on November 15.
Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo were also left out, alongside Chelsea veteran Jordan Henderson, City defender Nico O’Reilly, and Arsenal winger Noni Madueke.
Despite those high-profile omissions, Tuchel handed maiden senior call-ups to Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham and Fulham prospect Josh King.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid defender Trent Alexander-Arnold retains his place in the squad.
The full squad selection features Jordan Pickford, James Trafford, and Jason Steele in goal, supported by defenders Jarrad Branthwaite, Marc Guehi, Ezri Konsa, Lewis Hall, Jarell Quansah, Djed Spence, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Ben White.
