Tinubu appoints Sanwo-Olu as 2027 South-West campaign coordinator

The All Progressives Congress has appointed Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as South-West zonal campaign coordinator for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, according to Peoples Gazette.

A presidency statement named Tinubu chairman of the campaign council, Vice-President Kashim Shettima vice-chairman, former Zamfara Governor Abdulaziz Yari director-general, and Imo Governor Hope Uzodimma secretary.

Sanwo-Olu, also chairman of the South-West Governors’ Forum, will coordinate activities across Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti states, engaging political, labour and business stakeholders to mobilise support and publicise the administration’s achievements ahead of the election.
