Tinubu has outperformed all Nigeria’s elected president – APC spokesman

APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka has declared that President Bola Tinubu has outperformed every democratically elected president in Nigerian history during their first terms, saying economic indicators “speak for themselves” despite the administration inheriting a country in a “complete mess.”

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has outperformed any president in his first term. He has outperformed any democratically elected president in this country in their terms,” Morka said during a Channels Television interview on Monday as reported by The Punch

In a striking aside, Morka described former President Muhammadu Buhari — Tinubu’s immediate predecessor and fellow APC leader — as a “stopgap president” who merely kept Nigeria from “tipping over the precipice” before Tinubu took over.
