Tinubu’s government wants to kill me, my life is at stake — Sowore
African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has alleged that President Bola Tinubu’s administration wants him killed following an attack in Ekiti State.
According to Daily Post, Sowore made the allegation on Friday during Channels Television’s Politics Today programme.
He accused the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police of knowing those responsible for the attack.
“My life is at stake and I have been a threat to the government since I was 20 years old. I’m opposed to the illegitimacy of the government, where you not here when Buhari abducted me from a hotel in Lagos? Is it not the same APC government?” he said.
Sowore also alleged that security operatives previously tracked his movements in Port Harcourt.
“The issue is that we were attacked unprovoked in Ekiti State, I have been a threat and they want to kill me.”
However, the police described the incident as an altercation and announced an investigation.
