Tottenham close in on Chelsea double deal

Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on a double swoop for Chelsea players Tosin Adarabioyo and Mykhailo Mudryk as they look to strengthen their squad before the transfer deadline. Football London reports that Spurs have agreed a deal for Tosin, with personal terms expected to be completed before the defender undergoes his medical.

Tottenham have also secured approval for a loan move for Mudryk, with personal terms reportedly agreed. The moves come as Spurs seek reinforcements after failing to win either of their opening two Premier League matches. Chelsea, meanwhile, are reducing their defensive numbers after manager Xabi Alonso inherited a squad containing around 10 central defenders.
