Trump, Mamdani to meet in New York as midterm stakes rise
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani will host President Donald Trump at Gracie Mansion on Monday for talks on issues affecting the city and its residents, the mayor’s office confirmed to Fox News. City Hall said the discussion will focus on issues facing America’s largest city. No time has been announced.
The meeting will be the third between both men. They first met in the Oval Office in November 2025, shortly after Mamdani’s election, and again at the White House in February. Fox News reported they discussed housing and affordability during their first meeting.
It comes as New York prepares to host world leaders for the United Nations General Assembly, and as campaigning for November’s midterm elections enters its final weeks.
