Trump reacts after Byron Donalds removes Trump references from campaign site

US President Donald Trump has rejected reports that Florida gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds removed references to him from his campaign website, calling the story “Fake.”

According to MS NOW, Donalds’ website previously featured prominent references to Trump, including a donation button describing him as “Trump Endorsed,” an endorsement banner and Trump’s 2025 “RUN, BYRON, RUN!” endorsement.

Those references were recently removed, along with a photograph showing Donalds and his wife, Erika, with Trump.

Trump responded Saturday with a lengthy social media post, accusing news organisations of trying to “demean” him and insisting Donalds had not dropped him from campaign materials.

“If Florida thought the story that Byron ‘dropped’ me was true, he would lose the Election,” Trump wrote.

Trump also said two rallies were scheduled in Florida for Donalds and predicted they would be “SOLD OUT!”

However, MS NOW reported there had been no official confirmation yet that the rallies would take place or that Donalds had agreed to participate.
