Trump says MS NOW, CNN and Politico will be barred from White House
President Donald Trump said Friday he is banning CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House over their coverage of him, CNBC reports.
In a Truth Social post, Trump said the outlets “shouldn’t be able to constantly write or report FICTION and LIES” about him, his administration or the United States, though he did not cite specific coverage. He added that “other Fake News Media Outlets” could follow.
The White House had not responded to CNBC’s request for comment at the time of publication. Trump has repeatedly accused mainstream outlets of “fake news” reporting throughout his presidency.
