Turkish police bust cross-border egg trafficking ring tied to 811 sales

🇹🇷🇨🇾 Turkish police BUSTED a cross-border egg trafficking ring that ran 811 sales from 41 women

Authorities say the network sent women from Istanbul to Cyprus and other countries for surgical egg extraction, then sold the cells for €60-80 each.

The alleged leader, Hacer T., started as a donor herself before organizing the operation. Doctors and travel coordinators were also detained after a tip from the leader’s own spouse.

The spouse’s tip is what brought the whole network down.
