UFO whistleblowers ask Trump to allow public disclosure of classified secrets

A group of UFO whistleblowers is urging US President Donald Trump to waive confidentiality restrictions so they can publicly discuss what they claim to know about unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).

According to the New York Post, former intelligence and military personnel, including David Grusch, Dylan Borland and Matthew Brown, are seeking permission to disclose information currently protected by non-disclosure agreements.

The whistleblowers argue that they should be allowed to share information they believe could shed light on alleged government investigations into UAPs and claims involving nonhuman technology.

Their appeal comes after the Trump administration took steps toward allowing some current and former Defense Department personnel to disclose UAP-related classified information through an authorised government process.

However, the existing waiver does not broadly permit public disclosure and does not cover every agency or private confidentiality agreement.

The whistleblowers are therefore calling for wider protections that would allow them to speak openly without facing legal or professional consequences. Their claims remain contested, and publicly available evidence has not established that extraterrestrial technology exists.
