Unai Emery storms down the tunnel Alafter Man United’s last-gasp equaliser
Aston Villa manager Unai Emery stormed down the tunnel in sheer frustration after Manchester United scored a dramatic late equaliser to seal a chaotic 4-4 draw at Old Trafford.
According to a report by The Independent, United trailed 4-2 deep into stoppage time before Joshua Zirkzee scored in the 92nd minute, followed by Patrick Dorgu heading home an incredible 96th-minute equaliser after Villa goalkeeper Zion Suzuki failed to collect the ball.
Emery immediately headed for the tunnel before the final whistle blew, skipping the customary full-time handshake with under-fire United boss Michael Carrick.
Villa had earlier taken a 2-0 lead through Alysson and Nicolas Jackson, but United leveled before half-time via Bruno Fernandes and Youri Tielemans.
Second-half goals from John McGinn and Leon Goretzka looked to have secured victory for Villa before their late collapse. The result leaves Villa 10th in the Premier League table, while United remain in 18th place.
