US firm reveals key details in Tinubu drug court ruling

Share:

United States-based lobbying firm Von Batten-Montague-York has accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of misrepresenting a federal court ruling involving allegations of drug trafficking.

The firm challenged a report shared by presidential aide Sunday Dare suggesting that the court had blocked efforts to obtain information concerning Tinubu.

According to Daily Post, the US District Court for the District of Columbia rejected Aaron Greenspan’s request to question Tinubu over alleged cyberattacks.

The firm maintained that the decision did not resolve the underlying Freedom of Information Act lawsuit seeking federal investigative records.

The court’s October 30 ruling confirmed that the proposed questioning was insufficiently relevant to the FOIA dispute.

However, other aspects of the lawsuit remain unresolved, with federal agencies required to provide further explanations concerning withheld records.

The ruling did not determine whether Tinubu had engaged in drug trafficking.
