VIDEO: Cargo plane crashes at Miami International Airport after overshooting runway

A ground stop was declared at Miami International Airport on Sunday after a Prime Air Boeing 767 went off the runway, according to reports from WSVN 7News and NBC 6 South Florida.

Video obtained by WSVN reportedly shows the aircraft departing off the end of Runway 30, crossing a perimeter road and NW 67th Avenue before coming to a stop in a nearby field. Sources said all departures from the airport were grounded as of 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to MIA, the ground stop was issued due to a disabled aircraft on the runway. Additional footage circulating online showed heavy smoke rising from the area, though sources noted details on the incident remain limited, with authorities yet to confirm injuries or the cause of the excursion.
