“I’m ready to go”: Marcel Johnson’s final words, as wife announces his death

TikTok creator Marcel Johnson has died at 32 after a battle with stomach cancer, TMZ reports.

His wife, Taylor, announced on Instagram that he died Monday, November 2, at 4:45 p.m. Johnson, a father of five, was diagnosed in August 2025 and spent about 15 months documenting his illness on social media.

“I lost a whole entire half of me,” Taylor wrote. She said his last words to the family that morning were “I’m ready to go.” She added: “I love him with my whole entire being and life will absolutely never ever be the same.”

His brother, Dedric Charles Johnson, also announced the death on social media, the Jamaica Observer reported. He called Marcel a role model and the foundation of the family, and wrote: “Having you as my big brother was the biggest blessing I’ve had in life.”
