‘We’ll come’ — Dangote accepts Bae U’s YouTube interview invitation

Billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote has accepted an invitation from Nigerian content creator Adebayo Ridwan, popularly known as Bae U Barbie, to appear on his YouTube programme, Curiosity Made Me Ask.

According to The Punch, the invitation came during Bae U’s visit to Dangote Refinery in Lagos on Monday.

The content creator urged Dangote to engage younger Nigerians through platforms they frequently watch, particularly those interested in his business and proposed initial public offering.

“Most of the interviews we’ve seen you have been on platforms that my generation don’t watch,” Bae U said.

Responding, Dangote acknowledged the importance of engaging younger audiences and sharing experiences across generations.

“Honestly, the future that we have is actually you, the youth. We, our own generation, really, we have not really done very well for Nigeria and also for Africa. That’s the truth,” he said.

Dangote subsequently accepted the invitation, saying, “We will come.”
