Warned of ‘retaliation’ in last post before ‘suicide’…

Simon Andriesz, a former British banker who raised concerns about US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick’s links to Jeffrey Epstein, has died by suicide aged 57.

Daily Beast reported that Andriesz previously worked at BGC Group, where Lutnick served as chief executive, and had spent decades in financial markets.

Andriesz drew attention earlier this year after providing Congress with a 2018 email chain showing correspondence between Lutnick and Epstein concerning Adfin, a digital advertising company in which both had invested.

His death was confirmed by Andy Agathangelou, founder of the Transparency Task Force, which had previously hosted Andriesz at whistleblowing events.

“It is with great sadness that we share the news that Simon Andriesz, a valued member of our community, passed away last week,” Agathangelou said.

Andriesz had also previously raised allegations about Lutnick’s business dealings with Epstein with the FBI.

No credible report cited here has linked Andriesz’s death to his whistleblowing activities.
