Wike: Hunger, insecurity won’t stop Nigerians from re-electing Tinubu in 2027
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has expressed confidence that hunger and insecurity will not prevent Nigerians from re-electing President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Wike spoke on Wednesday during a media parley with journalists in Abuja, where he acknowledged the country’s economic and security challenges.
According to Daily Post, he argued that political choices are often influenced by community leaders and local structures, rather than individual preferences alone.
The minister urged political analysts to assess Nigerian elections practically, noting that hunger and insecurity have featured in previous elections without determining their outcomes.
