William Saliba returns to Arsenal first-team training after injury layoff
Arsenal have received a major boost with defender William Saliba reportedly returning to first-team training after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
According to SportsView, the France international has rejoined his teammates after making progress in his recovery from an injury sustained at the beginning of the season.
Saliba had been undergoing individual training since last month and has now reportedly completed important recovery milestones. However, Arsenal are expected to take a cautious approach rather than rush the centre-back back into competitive action.
Ezri Konsa and Gabriel Magalhaes have formed a solid partnership in his absence, but Saliba’s return to training gives Mikel Arteta another defensive option as the Gunners compete across multiple competitions.
