Yiaga Africa to deploy AI, PRVT to scrutinise Osun election results

Election observer group Yiaga Africa says it will deploy an artificial intelligence-assisted system alongside its observation methodology to independently scrutinise results from Saturday’s Osun governorship election.

According to Premium Times, Executive Director Samson Itodo disclosed this in Osogbo on Friday, explaining that Yiaga would combine its Process and Results Verification for Transparency (PRVT) methodology with its Election Result Analysis Dashboard (ERAD 2.0) to assess both the process and integrity of results.

The PRVT statistically verifies whether official results match votes recorded at sampled polling units, aiming for a data-driven assessment.
