You’ve seven days to prove southern Kaduna killings allegation, El-Rufai’s family tells Musa
According to TheCable, the family of former Kaduna governor Nasir el-Rufai has given Defence Minister Christopher Musa seven days to substantiate allegations that el-Rufai planned killings in southern Kaduna. In a statement issued by Bello el-Rufai on behalf of the family, they demanded evidence following Musa’s claims during a September 3 Channels Television interview, where he accused el-Rufai of dividing the state along regional lines and paying bandits.
The minister described el-Rufai as “misguided” rather than an enemy. The family insisted serious criminal allegations require credible evidence and warned that failure to provide proof or issue a public retraction within seven days would prompt legal action against Musa.
