2026 Ballon d’Or Goalkeeper of the Year: All 10 nominees revealed

The 2026 Ballon d’Or Goalkeeper of the Year shortlist has been announced, with 10 standout goalkeepers recognised for their performances over the past season. The nominees are Matvey Safonov, Unai Simón, Vózinha, David Raya, Emiliano Martínez, Édouard Mendy, Joan García, Gregor Kobel, Thibaut Courtois and Yassine Bounou.

Raya earned recognition after winning a third consecutive Premier League Golden Glove, while Simón impressed with seven World Cup clean sheets. García recorded 15 clean sheets during Barcelona’s La Liga-winning campaign, while Bounou helped Morocco win AFCON. The shortlist also includes representatives from PSG, Real Madrid, Aston Villa, Borussia Dortmund and Al-Ahli.
