2027: Adeleke, Oyetola forge alliance for Tinubu, unveil vehicles donated by Tompolo
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, have inaugurated 30 campaign vehicles in Osogbo to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, The PUNCH reports.
The vehicles, unveiled on Saturday, were donated by Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, convener of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement.
In an address read by his deputy, Kola Adewusi, Adeleke said: “We all gather here solely to promote and market President Tinubu for continuity. We are proud rainbow coalition members with strong belief in the leadership of Mr President.”
He added that the coalition partners had no deal on the legislative elections.
Oyetola’s speech was delivered by Bola Oyebamiji. It said: “Our target of mobilising 1.5 million votes for President Tinubu in Osun is achievable if we approach the assignment with unity, discipline and determination.”
The PUNCH notes that the two leaders have kept a noticeable distance despite the alliance between the Accord Party and the APC in the state.
