2027: Obi will humiliate Soludo in Anambra, I can bet my life — Momodu

African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain Dele Momodu has predicted that Peter Obi will defeat Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo and President Bola Tinubu in the South-East during the 2027 presidential election.

According to PUNCH, Momodu made the prediction during an interview on Arise Television on Wednesday.

“I can tell you something. Soludo is the same. I can bet my life on it that Peter Obi will humiliate and disgrace Soludo in Anambra state. I have no question about that,” he declared.

Describing Obi’s popularity across southern Nigeria, Momodu said, “Peter Obi is a rock star. Where he comes from, especially in the South-East and the South-South.”

He maintained that Obi’s influence could significantly weaken Tinubu’s re-election prospects in both regions.

Despite praising Obi, Momodu reaffirmed his support for former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar.

He also welcomed calls for opposition unity, arguing that cooperation among opposition leaders could strengthen their challenge against Tinubu in 2027.
