31-year-old mother, toddler twin killed by lightning strike in Florida thunderstorm
A 31-year-old mother and one of her toddler twin daughters have died after being struck by lightning in Margate, Florida, Daily Mail reports.
Kenya Glasgow was walking with her two-year-old daughter, Kennedi, on Sunday afternoon when they were struck. A witness who called 911 said both victims had burn marks and were emitting smoke. First responders attempted CPR before rushing them to separate hospitals, where they were later pronounced dead.
Kenya’s husband, Kam Glasgow, described losing his “best friend,” noting their surviving twin, Kensli, must now grow up without her sister. Police are continuing to investigate the tragedy.
