Bernardo Silva impresses Madrid fans as Mourinho raises concern

Real Madrid supporters have praised Bernardo Silva following his debut in a 2-1 pre-season victory over Ferencvaros. According to GiveMeSport, the Portugal international impressed during a 45-minute cameo despite manager Jose Mourinho questioning his physical condition. Silva joined Madrid this summer after nine years at Manchester City and was introduced after half-time in Budapest.

Mourinho said Silva arrived at pre-season below his usual fitness level but praised his versatility and technical quality. Madrid fans responded positively, highlighting his composure, passing and ability to progress the ball. Silva, meanwhile, admitted his opening week had been demanding but said he was delighted to begin life at the Spanish club.
