Atiku cautions INEC against ‘mysterious glitches’ ahead of Osun poll
Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has warned Nigeria’s electoral and security agencies against manipulating Saturday’s Osun governorship election, according to Tribune Online.
Speaking at an ADC youth summit in Abuja, Atiku said heavy security deployment resembled war preparation rather than democratic process, insisting INEC, police and the military “belong to Nigeria,” not the ruling APC. He cautioned against “mysterious glitches” and demanded transparent vote counting.
Atiku also renewed allegations of discrepancies in President Tinubu’s Chicago State University certificate, questioning its authenticity and citing constitutional grounds for disqualification over forged documents.
