Quansah interest emerges as Arsenal consider defensive reinforcement
Arsenal have expressed interest in signing Bayer Leverkusen defender Jarell Quansah as they continue searching for defensive reinforcements. According to BBC Sport, talks are currently exploratory, although sources indicate a potential deal could be possible for the 23-year-old. The interest comes as Arsenal continue negotiations with Aston Villa over Ezri Konsa.
Villa reportedly value the England defender at around £60 million, while Arsenal consider his worth closer to £40 million. Quansah fits Arsenal’s preferred profile because he can operate at centre-back and right-back. He made 44 appearances for Leverkusen last season, scoring five goals, while Liverpool retain an option to match any offer.
