Adeleke visits Tinubu in Abuja, presents Certificate of Return

Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke on Thursday visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, days after winning a second term. Arriving at about 5:20pm alongside NSA Nuhu Ribadu, Adeleke held a closed-door meeting with Tinubu and presented his Certificate of Return, earlier issued by INEC in Osogbo.

PM News reports that Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to defeat APC’s Bola Oyebamiji, who got 444,815, winning 19 of 30 local government areas. Tinubu had earlier congratulated Adeleke, urging him to unite Osun residents and prioritise development.
