I’ll give Atiku, Obi high blood pressure, Wike boasts
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has vowed to sustain political pressure on former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to The Cable, Wike ‘spoke on Friday in Abuja, insisting that Nigeria currently has no formidable opposition party capable of challenging President Bola Tinubu’s administration. He attributed the weakness of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to its prolonged internal crisis.
The FCT minister, who supports Tinubu’s re-election, said he would continue to frustrate opposition figures, declaring that making them uncomfortable was part of his political strategy.
