2027: Presidential election already concluded, Wike declares

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has declared that the 2027 election has already been concluded, claiming recent political realignments across Nigeria favour President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking to journalists on Friday, Wike, as reported by Tribune Online, said more political developments supporting Tinubu would emerge in the coming days.

“And that’s why I said this election has been concluded. It has been concluded, so there’s nothing anybody can do,” he said.

Wike also dismissed claims of a formidable opposition, saying politicians including Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi were merely struggling for relevance.

“I have told you when you say leading opposition, I’ve told you there’s no opposition,” he said.
