“We don’t work with visa agents” – German Embassy tells Nigerians
The German Embassy in Nigeria has cautioned Nigerians against trusting unverified claims from so-called visa agents, according to a report by Punch Newspapers. The embassy, in a Wednesday post on its official X account, urged applicants to seek visa information directly from official channels rather than relying on middlemen. It denied any affiliation with visa agents and invited Nigerians to share claims they had heard so it could address misconceptions in future posts. The warning follows growing concern over misleading visa information circulating online, with the mission stressing that all accurate details remain freely accessible on its official website.
