RCCG youths reject alleged event to ‘market Tinubu’ using church’s name

A group of Redeemed Christian Church of God youths in Abuja has rejected a political summit, alleging it is being used to promote President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress.

According to SaharaReporters, the Concerned RCCG FCT Youths accused organisers of using the church’s name, logo and identity for what they described as a partisan political gathering.

The group said the RCCG Youth Political Summit 2026, scheduled for September 26 in Abuja, should promote Christian values and civic participation rather than party interests.

The youths demanded that alleged loyalists be removed from the programme or that RCCG branding be withdrawn.

They also urged leaders to intervene, insisting that RCCG should remain neutral and open to Nigerians across party affiliations.
