2027: Peter Obi says he is unsure he will be alive for election

Presidential candidate Peter Obi has expressed concern about his safety ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general election, saying he is unsure whether he will be alive by the time of the poll.

According to Daily Post, Obi made the statement during an interview with Arise TV on Thursday.

The former Anambra State governor said he had been petitioned and investigated in different places, adding that he was uncertain about what could happen to him.

Obi said he was relying on God for protection and urged politicians to maintain peace.

He also called on governors to allow presidential candidates and other aspirants to campaign freely, regardless of political affiliation.
